Africa Albida`s Victoria (AAT) has recently appointed a new general manager, Anald Musonza, to assume office to bring a new face to the tourism group.
In a press statement dated 7 March 2019, African Albida Tourism Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ross Kennedy, said that he is excited with the coming back of former employees, “it is always extremely gratifying when former employees return to the team.”
He will be the third person to be welcome back in just a few months.
AAT reinstated Thomas Koke as the Boma Executive Chef last year and Bryony Acutt as Group Sales and Brand Manager in early 2019 to strengthen the group with different ideas and skills acquired from their previous work relation.
Anald Musonza was the regional manager at Shearwater Adventures Group Ltd. The new role will see him managing Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, Victoria Falls Club, Victoria Falls Safari Suites, Lokuthula and The Boma –Dinner and Drum show, under the Victoria Falls properties.
Mr. Kennedy said that the new general manger will bring a range of experience and new skills which will add impact for the growth and development of the organisation.
Due to his experience, Anald Musonza will enable him to market the AAt’s properties for global attraction because he has a vast of knowledge in the management sector as well as in food and beverages.
New innovation ideas and products are expected for the new general manger to give a different taste and direction.
The onus lies with the new general manager to impress different stakeholder with his new role, because it’s a hard task to manage one of the big tourist resort in the country particularly the biggest one which will be eyed by every tourist around the world.
Tourism is one of the sources of income in Zimbabwe in terms of foreign currency since the country is having hard time in sourcing out forex. Musonza is up for the challenge in mapping the country`s image to offer the best services.
Mr. Kennedy wished the best to the new general manager in his role to continue lifting the AAT’s flag as to position its image as the best service standards across the world, so that more tourists will visit the group’s properties and the resort town.
